building sanctuaries for children across 
the globe—one healing house at a time.
LITTLE HANDS, BIG WORLD
It started with a hospital room.
When Kristi Noël’s second son was suddenly hospitalized for 
febrile seizures, she found herself sitting in a pediatric inten-
sive care unit, watching her child in a way that changed her 
permanently. In that room, something clarified. The help-
lessness of children, their absolute dependence on the adults 
around them to keep them safe, felt not just heart-breaking 
but also like a calling. She left that hospital knowing what 
she was meant to do.
That clarity became Helping Hands to Heal the Children, the 
Orange County-founded 501(c)(3) nonprofit that Kristi has built 
into a global mission to rescue, protect, and nurture children 
living in some of the world’s most dangerous circumstances.
THE MISSION
At its heart, Helping Hands operates on a simple but urgent 
conviction: every child deserves safety, love, and a future. 
What that looks like in practice is far-reaching.
The organization focuses on rescuing children from human 
trafficking—an epidemic that claims countless young lives 
across Uganda and beyond—providing them with immediate 
safety, medical care, and emotional support. But rescue, as 
Kristi understands it, is only the beginning. True healing 
requires somewhere to go.

当 Kristi Noël 的第二个儿子因高热惊厥突然住院时，她坐在儿童
重症监护病房里，守着自己的孩子。那一刻，以一种永久改变她的方

Helping Hands 的核心信念简单而迫切：每一个孩子都应拥有安

机构重点致力于营救遭受人口贩运侵害的儿童——这一危机正在乌
干达及更广泛地区吞噬无数年轻生命——并为他们提供即时的安全
庇护、医疗照护与情感支持。但在 Kristi 看来，营救只是开始。真正
的疗愈，必须有一个归处。
