Weekly site meetings kept things tight. 
Questions were addressed as they came up. 
Decisions were made in real time, and the 
work kept moving.
“I was very fortunate to work again with 
the owner,” says Sinclair. “He understands 
both design and construction. He can step 
into any role when needed and move things 
forward immediately.”
Graff approached the project from a place of 
familiarity.
“I already knew how he lived,” she says. 
“How he entertains, how he uses space, what 
matters to him.”
That allowed her to shape more than just 
the interiors. The layout, the way you move 
through the home, and the balance between 
open entertaining spaces and quieter rooms 
were all considered early and carried 
through.
There’s a structure to the design. Something 
grounded, but never heavy. Materials were 
chosen for how they age and how they feel 
to live with. Wood, stone, plaster. Nothing 
ornamental. Everything has a purpose.

的平面布局、人在其中的行进方式、开放式社交空

便被纳入整体思考，并最终贯彻到底。 
这套设计有一种清晰的秩序感。沉稳，却从不厚
重。木材、石材、灰泥——所有材质的选择，考虑的
都是其经年后的状态，以及真正居住其中的触感。
没有多余装饰，一切皆有其用。
